Zhu TianCai

GrandMaster Zhu TianCai:

May 8-9, 2010 - Washington D.C.
May 10, 2010 - Annapolis (Arnold) MD

Grandmaster Zhu Tiancai, 19th generation successor of the Chen Family Taijiquan, is one of the “FOUR GREAT JINGANG’S (Warriors).” He is known for his hands-on show-and-tell teaching, which cuts through the mystique that engulfs Taijiquan. His tireless enthusiasm in class is infectious, a must-see for any Taiji enthusiast!

Weekend Topics:

1) Silk-Reeling (Chansi) Energy

2) How to apply chansi energy to your practice of Taijiquan

3) Applications in Qinna (Capturing/locking of joints)

Learn to practice the principle of “yi (mind/intent) leads, qi follows, qi arrives, motion follows,” and to understand “use yi (mind/intent), not li (force)” to move, to nurture qi and to develop neijin or inner strength of chansi energy.

Learn to apply the principle of chansi energy in the practice Taijiquan (Old Frame Routine One is used as model, but applicable to all forms).

In the last afternoon session, enjoy the practice of Qinna, the art of capturing/locking joints, and see how the chansi energy applies.

THIS IS A MUST-ATTEND WORKSHOP for anyone who seeks higher levels of the art.
